I.                    PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE

 

The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Chairman John B. Angotti

 

 

II.                 ROLL CALL

 

The above members were in attendance and a quorum was present.

 

 

III.               MINUTES OF JULY 8, 2002

 

It was brought to the attention of Commission that Page 2 of the minutes was left out when copies were made.  A copy of the missing page was reviewed by the Commission.  Elizabeth Kourianos made a motion to table the minutes and return for approval at the next meeting.  Gary Lyon seconded and a motion was carried.

Mr. Larsen was unable to attend the meeting.  Francis Duzenack presented the application with a favorable recommendation from staff.

Gary Lyon made a motion that a favorable recommendation be forwarded to Price City Council.  Laurel Marinos seconded and a motion was carried.               

 

 

V.                 HOME OCCUPIED BUSINESS - OFFICE USE ONLY

Mr. Ghirardelli informed the Commission all product will be drop-shipped directly from distributor to customer.  There were no other concerns and a motion for favorable recommendation was made by Gary Lyon.  The motion was seconded by Penny Sampinos and a motion was carried.

 

 

VI.              HOME OCCUPIED BUSINESS - OFFICE USE ONLY

BRIAN JAMES HASTINGS, OWNER

 

Mr. Hastings stated he is in process of getting his contractor=s license and is aware of the $1,000 handyman limit.  A favorable motion was made by Penny Sampinos, seconded by Alfred Richens and a motion was carried.

VIII.         UNFINISHED BUSINESS

 

1)         UPDATE ON EDUCATIONAL VIDEO PROGRAM COUNCIL REPRESENTATIVE ELIZABETH KOURIANOS

 

Ms. Kourianos informed the Commission that the videos have arrived and the first training is slated for Monday, August 5, 2002 at 6:00 PM in room 207 of Price City Hall.

 

There was no further business and a motion to adjourn was made by Alfred Richens.  The meeting was adjourned at 6:20 PM.
