Minutes of The Price City Swearing In Ceremony

Mayor Joe L. Piccolo welcomed the audience to the swearing in ceremony. Past Courtney Shucker, Ascension St. Matthews Church, conducted the opening prayer.

Judge Boyd Bunnell spoke on local government and the thousands of hours that elected officials dedicate in carrying out their duties. He stressed the need for citizens to support their elected officials. He has seen a lot of progress take place in Price City and is thankful he lives in such a wonderful place.

City Recorder Joanne Lessar conducted the swearing in of Councilmembers Joe Christman, Stephen L. Denison, Jeanne McEvoy and Richard Tatton.

The newly elected officials expressed appreciation to the public for their confidence in voting them into office. They briefly spoke about their ideas and plans for the future.

Tony Pinedo sang a patriotic song, I=m Proud To Be An American.

Mayor Piccolo thanked the audience for attending the ceremonies and invited them to lunch.

Mark Page, Price North Stake President, conducted the closing prayer.
