 1.         WORKSHOP - Budget For FY2002/2003

The Council met in a workshop to review the budget for the Fiscal Year 2002-2003. Pat presented a comparison of employee medical and dental insurance costs for the year 2002-2003 as compared to 2001-2002.

Capital Expenditures was reviewed. Councilmember Tatton reported that the cost of the Bureau of Land Management Building would be closer to $290,000. The purchase should be finalized by the end of the June, 2002. Pat will revise the budget for 2001-2002 to allow for the additional cost and remove the purchase from the 2002-2003 budget. The future of the Price Community Complex was discussed. It was felt that it might be possible to transfer some of the offices from the PCC to the BLM building. Another possible use for the BLM property would be for the pool. This would eliminate the need to build a new garage at the pool. It was recommended to delay the purchase of land for a new library until the following year.
