1. CANVASS
OF 2005 GENERAL ELECTION - Accepted
The Mayor and Council acted as the Board of Canvassers for
the November 8, 2005 General Election.
Joanne Lessar reported that there were 17
Provisional Ballots. Out of the 17, only
14 were counted as two voters were not registered and the other was registered
in another city. Two absentee ballots
were received and eligible to be counted.
The Provisional Ballots and the Absentee Ballots were added to the
cumulative ballots cast. The results of the election were as follows:

MOTION. Councilmember
Tatton moved that the election results be accepted. Motion seconded by Councilmember
Aguayo and carried.
2. RESOLUTION
#2005-29 - Classification of Job Description As A
Grade 19 For Price City Fire Chief
John Daniels presented Resolution #2005-29, classifying the
job description for the Price City Fire Chief as a Grade 19. This is due to additional duties associated
with emergency management and fire code enforcements. MOTION. Councilmember
Tatton moved that Resolution #2005-29 be approved and that the Mayor and City
Recorder be authorized to sign the resolution.
Motion seconded by Councilmember McEvoy and
carried.
3. PAUL
BEDONT - Appointment As New Price City Fire Chief
Mayor Piccolo recommended that Paul Bedont
be appointed as the new Price City Fire Chief effective December 1, 2005. Mr. Bedont has been
the Assistant Fire Chief for the past 1 2 years.
MOTION. Councilmember Aguayo moved that the appointment be approved. Motion seconded by Councilmember
McEvoy and carried.
