  1. 1250 GPM CLASS A PUMPER FIRE TRUCK - Payment Authorization Letter

Pat Larsen reported that the City will prepay the 1250 GPM Class A Pumper Fire Truck. In order to do this, the City needs to post a bond, pass a resolution, or authorize Nick Sampinos to write a letter stating that the City will reimburse First Security Leasing Company in the event the truck is not delivered. MOTION. Councilmember Piccolo moved that Mr. Sampinos be authorized to write the above letter. Motion seconded by Councilmember Wheeler and carried.

  1. RESOLUTION #99-27 - Lease/Purchase Agreement With First Security Leasing Corporation (Fire Truck)

Pat Larsen presented Resolution #99-27, authorizing the lease/purchase agreement with First Security Leasing Company for the 1250 GPM Class A Pumper Fire Truck. This lease is for a period of 6 years at 5.5% interest. MOTION. Councilmember Piccolo moved that Resolution #99-27 be approved and that the Mayor and City Recorder be authorized to execute the documents. Moiton seconded by Councilmember Wheeler and carried.

  1. RESOLUTION #99-26 - Lease/Purchase Agreement With First Security Leasing Corporation (Sewer Truck)

Pat Larsen presented Resolution #99-26, authorizing the lease/purchase agreement with First Security Leasing Company for the sewer truck. This lease is for a period of 5 years at 5.46% interest. MOTION. Councilmember Denison moved that Resolution #99-26 be approved and that the Mayor and City Recorder be authorized to execute the documents. Motion seconded by Councilmember Tatton and carried.
