MINUTES OF APRIL 10, 2000
There were no corrections or additions and Gary Lyon
moved to approve the minutes of April 10, 2000 as read. Alfred Richens seconded and the motion
carried.
2.
HOME OCCUPIED BUSINESS - OFFICE USE ONLY
LD PROPERTY MAINTENANCE

LANDSCAPE AND LAWN CARE

Anna Sandoval explained she, her husband and son will
be doing property maintenance and landscaping.
Equipment will be kept in either the back yard or back of their
truck. They will advertise through the
newspaper and will not have customers at their home. They have no plans for a sign.
Gas or chemicals will not be stored on site or purchased until
needed. There were no concerns and
Alfred Richens moved to forward a favorable recommendation to Price City
Council for the Home Occupied Business - Office Use Only - for LD Property
Management. Penny Sampinos seconded and
the motion carried.

CRAFTS AND TOLE PAINTING

Ms. Dalton does crafts on a part-time basis for
special shows throughout the year and keeps minimal craft supplies on
hand. There were no concerns and Penny
Sampinos moved to forward a favorable recommendation to Price City Council for
the Home Occupied Business of Mulberry Patch.
Laurel Marinos seconded and the motion carried.
4. CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT - SIGN
LIFELINE PREGNANCY ASSISTANCE & SUPPORT CENTER

REQUEST TO PLACE A SIGN ON FENCE AT NOTRE DAME SCHOOL
MADELINE MERCIER, DIRECTOR
Madeline Mercier explained they are a part of the
Notre Dame Ministry and provide support and assistance at their office at 454
East 400 North. They also offer classes at the Notre Dame School and would like
permission to put an informational sign on the fence at the school. The sign meets the minimum requirements, but
should be placed on the fence at the 200 North corner so as not to impede
traffic. There were no concerns and
Gary Lyon moved to forward a favorable recommendation to Price City Council for
the Conditional Use Permit - Sign - for Lifeline Pregnancy Assistance &
Support Center. Penny Sampinos seconded
and the motion carried.
5. CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT

Mr. Basso was unable to attend and Gary Lyon made a
motion to table this item
until the next meeting. Penny Sampinos seconded and the motion carried.
6.
CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT - PRELIMINARY APPROVAL
McDONALDS CORPORATION
RELOCATION OF MCDONALDS RESTAURANT

E. FARLEY ESKELSON AND WAYNE BISHOP
Mr. Eskelson and Mr. Bishop presented color
renderings for the new McDonald’s Restaurant.
They reviewed the project and answered questions. They will change the driveway allowing for
right hand turns only and will install curb, gutter and a driveway curb cut for
access on the roadway leading to 100 North for the two homes on the north end
of the property. The entire project
will be completed in 80 days. Price
City has not yet received a letter from PRWID concerning the Waste Water
Survey. This must be submitted before
Final Approval can be given. There were
no further concerns and Alfred Richens made a motion to grant Preliminary
Approval for McDonald’s Restaurant and this item is to be placed on the next
meeting agenda for Final Approval.
Laurel Marinos seconded and the motion carried.

FOR BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT
Vern Jones asked for any additional recommendations
for the Board of Adjustments Vacancy. None were forthcoming and those received
will be presented to the Mayor for his consideration.

was concluded and Gary Lyon motioned to adjourn. Meeting adjourned at 6:40 P.M.
