Minutes of The Special Price Redevelopment Agency Meeting

Gary Sonntag reported that the committee appointed to review the Main Street Sidewalk and Light Project has awarded the project to B. Hansen Construction. The project was awarded under two schedules; Schedule A is from Carbon Avenue to 1st North, which is within the Redevelopment Agency; Schedule B, which is from 1st North to the Carbonville Road, is outside the agencies boundaries and will be handled under Price Municipal Corporation. Total cost of the project is $131,143.80, and should be initiated within the next week. The first phase of the project includes the sidewalk, brick pavers, light pedestals (concrete supports), and the electrical conduit. The second phase includes the lighting. Gary passed out pictures of what the downtown area and lighting would look like. The committee selected a decorative pole with a double mounted fixture on the top. These lights will be placed on both sides of Main Street from Carbon Avenue to 2nd West, and on the north side of the road from 2nd West to Carbonville Road. MOTION. Boardmember Denison moved that the above project be approved as presented. Motion seconded by Boardmember Nikas and carried.

MOTION. Boardmember Nikas moved that the meeting adjourn and that a meeting of the City Council convene. Motion seconded by Boardmember Denison and carried.
