Commissioner Lyon and Commissioner Sacco were excused.

III MINUTES OF MAY 8, 2006

A favorable motion to approve the minutes of May 8, 2006 as read was made by Commissioner Richens. Commissioner Shook seconded the motion. Motion Carried.

IV CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT-BUSINESS-FINAL

40 W. MAIN-CASTLE COUNTRY NUTURAL-DEBORAH PINKOWSKI, OWNER

Strike item from agenda.

V CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT-BUSINESS AND SIGN-FINAL

95 E. MAIN-CURVES-DOROTHY WILSON, D2 WILSON ENTERPRISES,LLC. OWNER

Dorothy Wilson was not present for the meeting. Francis Duzenack presented this request. This business is a change of ownership without physical changes to the building or sign. Staff recommends this business as an amendment to the original Conditional Use Permit.

A favorable recommendation for a Business and Sign Final was made by Commissioner Richens. Commissioner Nielson seconded the motion. Motion carried

VI CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT-BUSINESS AND SIGN-FINAL

90 WEST 100 NORTH-SOUTHWEST HYPNOSIS, MARILYN HARBER-OWNER

Francis Duzenack presented this request. This is an approved Home Occupied Business moving into a downtown location which requires a Conditional Use Permit. The building tenants share an existing reader board sign and lettering on the front door. No other signs will be used. A favorable recommendation for a Business and Sign Final was made by Commissioner Nielson. Commissioner Sampinos seconded the motion. Motion carried.

VII CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT-PRELIMINARY AND FINAL

PHASE I KROMPEL SUBDIVISION AMENDMENT-SAGEWOOD AREA-RICK KROMPEL, OWNER

Francis Duzenack presented this request. This was an enlargement of lot 8 due to a power line for the Krompel Subdivision Phase I Amendment. A favorable recommendation for a Conditional Use Permit Preliminary and Final was made by Commissioner Nielson. Commissioner Shook seconded the motion. Motion Carried.

VIII CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT-BUSINESS AND SIGN-FINAL

640 E. MAIN-BICYCLE WORKS-B.F. FUZZY NANCE, OWNER

B.F. Fuzzy Nance presented this request to move the previously approved Bicycle Works business to another location. The floor plan and store location are approximately the same layout as the previously approved location and should provide a more suitable space by restaurants and hotels for visitors. The temporary banner sign will be on top of the old Radio Shack sign until a new sign can be purchased. The sign on the side of the building will be repainted with their new logo. Staff recommendation for a Business Final was made by Commissioner Shook. Commissioner Sampinos seconded the motion. Motion carried.
